Happy Valley Quartet

Rich Wyatt (tenor), Ian McKelvie (lead), Jim Muldowney (bass), and Joe Hudon (baritone) make up the quartet HVQ.
Quartets are the foundation of barbershop and HVQ is the newest quartet in the Olympic Peninsula Men’s Chorus. Rich is retired from Nintendo and lives in Sequim with his wife, Jean. Ian has recently retired, and is now turning his attention to more barbershop singing , enjoying his chorus friends, and is the new President of the Chapter for 2011. Retired from the State of Alaska, Joe has been singing barbershop for 22 years, and has sung in numerous quartets both here and in Olympia. Joe and his wife, Sharon, live in Sequim. Jim and his wife, Linda, are both long time barbershoppers. Jim has been singing barbershop for 28 years and Linda is a member of the Sweet Adelines, the women’s barbershop organization. Jim works at Ruddell Auto Mall in Port Angeles.
